Sudoku with no pencil, no eraser and no dead puzzle books. The slide-off lid is the board, a full 9×9 grid, and every number tile is two-coloured: lay the starting clues with one colour facing up, then play your answers with the other colour showing, so you can always tell the puzzle from your progress. Made a mistake? Lift the tile, no smudges. When you’re done, everything drops into the tray underneath and the lid slides closed over it, so no lost pieces between games.
